🌷 March Into Spring: Community, Coastlines & Coastal Charm

March is that sweet spot in Pawleys Island — when winter starts to loosen its grip and the first hints of spring roll in with the ocean breeze. The days feel lighter, patios start filling up again, and our community calendar comes back to life.

Whether you’re looking for something active, cultural, relaxing, or just plain fun, here’s what’s happening in and around town this month:

🦞 Saturday March 7

SC Crawfish & Music Festival

📍 JB’s Celebration Park

A true Lowcountry kickoff to spring! Fresh crawfish, live bands, local vendors, cold drinks, and plenty of community spirit.

Family Friendly: Yes — great for all ages.
Attend: Tickets are typically available online in advance and possibly at the gate. Check the festival’s official website or social pages for updates and pricing.

🏃♂️ Saturday March 7 & Saturday March 21

Myrtle Beach Marathon & Bridge2Bridge Run

📍 Myrtle Beach & Georgetown

March brings two scenic race events to the Grand Strand. From full and half marathons to shorter distances, there are options for seasoned runners and beginners alike — or simply come cheer on participants along the route.

Family Friendly: Yes — fun community energy and spectator-friendly viewing areas.
Participate: Registration is required through each event’s official website. Spectators can attend freely.

🇨🇦 March Friday 13–Sunday 22

Can-Am Days

Kite Festival at Huntington Beach State Park

One of the prettiest backdrops for a spring afternoon. Watch colorful kites fill the sky over the Atlantic or bring your own and join in.

Family Friendly: Absolutely — perfect for children and outdoor lovers.

Attend: Standard park admission applies. No registration needed unless entering a competition.

🏡 March Friday 27–Satruday 28

Tour of Historic Homes & Plantations

A beloved annual event offering a glimpse into some of the Lowcountry’s most beautiful historic homes and gardens. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate architecture, design, and local history.

Attend: Advance ticket purchase is recommended, as space inside homes is limited.

🌊 March Friday 27–Sunday 29

Spring Women’s Retreat at Sea View Inn

A restorative weekend by the ocean designed for relaxation, reflection, and renewal. Activities typically include wellness sessions, quiet time, and connection with others.

Attend: Registration required in advance through the venue or event organizers.
